assessment and psychotherapy in community and
government organisations and now in private
practice. I use a range of therapeutic approaches
including Cognitive Behavioural, Schema, Interpersonal,
Solution Focused, Gestalt (experiential), Humanistic,
and Psychodynamic. Other interventions I make
use of include Hypnosis and Eye Movement Desensitization
and Reprocessing (EMDR – for the resolution
of trauma).
I am registered with the psychology
Board of Australia through the Australian Health
Practitioners Regulation Agency. I am a
member of the Australian Psychological Society,
the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and
an Associate Member of the Australian Society
of Hypnosis.
Membership
of the APS requires a high level of training,
knowledge and skills. As an APS psychologist
I follow guidelines about professional conduct,
responsibilities and confidentiality that are
set by the Society’s Code of Ethics. I
maintain my clinical skills and Knowledge through
participating in continuing professional development
activities and peer consultation and review.
